Horse Sales

At Willow Creek Ranch, we believe that good cows need good horses. There- fore, we are building our horse breeding program around the great CJ SUGAR. His offspring are full of "cow" athletic, kind and gentle, heavy-boned, good-footed, and pretty, with high hips. Most of them stand 15 to 15-1 hands.

From our band of registered Quarter Horse broodmares, which roam the range and are pasture bred annually, we retain some of the most promising and begin their ranch education shortly after weaning in the fall. We break and train slowly and in the most gentle and enlightened manner and, at the proper age, our cowboys begin to put miles and miles on them in normal ranch work. Our breeding "family" of horses is very gentle and anxious to please by nature and our training is geared to enhance this wonderful quality of character. During a normal year we have horses ready for sale and we would like to hear from you regarding your needs. You may come and ride for several days in order to pick one you can't live without.
